A MAN and his dog were rescued from a ‘faulty’ lift by firefighters in Teignmouth early this morning (May 29).

A crew from the resort dashed to the incident at Bitton Park Road just before 8.15am.

Emergency services used small tools and lift keys to release the man and his four-legged friend, who were uninjured.
