THREE fire crews tackled a gorse fire on Dartmoor last night.
Firefighters from Bovey Tracey and Ashburton dealt with the incident at Haytor Rocks after the alarm was raised at 7pm.
Beaters were used to knock out the blaze which had a fire front extending some 150 metres.
The fire was out within the hour.
