Police this evening have confirmed that a man in his 30s has died following an incident at a Dartmoor National Park works depot in St John’s Lane, Bovey Tracey.
A spokesman for Devon and Cornwall Police said: ‘We were notified at around 1.30pm today (Friday) of a possible industrial incident involving a man under a skip on St John’s Lane in Bovey Tracey.
‘Ambulance and fire services attended the scene but despite their best efforts a man in his 30s was declared deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.’
The Health and Safety Executive have been informed and police remain at the scene.
