A MAN was injured after falling 10ft from a ladder in Abbotskerswell this morning.

Devon Air Ambulance landed in the village as part of the 999 response to the accident in Ford Road at 10.30am.

The 67-year-old casualty was taken by land ambulance to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital at Wonford.

It’s understood he suffered a fractured hip in the tumble on to concrete. He was conscious at the scene.
