A TRACTOR driver in his 70s escaped serious injury when his vehicle overturned on a farm at Kingsteignton this afternoon.

Firefighters and paramedics were called to Whiteway Barton Farm at 12.30pm after the tractor rolled over on its side near Lindridge Hill.

The casualty, who has not been named, was treated at the scene for a graze to his head.

There were initial reports he was trapped under the vehicle.

He was found in his safety cab with his minor injury.
