A SCOOTER rider was rushed to hospital after falling from her machine in Newton Abbot around yesterday lunchtime.

The female casualty, who suffered a head injury, was to taken Torbay Hospital for treatment.

The accident happened just before 1pm.

No other vehicles were involved.
