A YOUNG motorcyclist suffered arm and leg injuries when he came off his bike in Newton Abbot over the weekend.

The 22-year-old rider, local to the town, was taken by ambulance to Torbay Hospital for treatment.

He was negotiating the bend linking Station Road and Torquay Road when he took a tumble from his 125cc machine just before 1am on Sunday, April 3.

A police spokesman said the injuries suffered were reckoned to be minor.
