A CAR and a camper van collided with each other on the A38 at Haldon Hill on Friday evening.

Firefighters from Exeter and Teignmouth attended the incident on the Plymouth-bound carriageway just before 7.30pm.

No one was injured in the accident.

Both vehicles had left the scene by the time police arrived.

A police spokesman said officers made a search of the area but could not trace the vehicles, which had been made safe by fire crews.
