A BABY and child from Highweek were checked over by paramedics after a four-vehicle shunt on the A38 near Chudleigh.

The little ones were taken back home in an ambulance after the ‘minor’ accident on the southbound carriageway near the Finlake turn-off.

The accident happened just after 4.30pm on Tuesday morning.
