A MAN was hurt in a two-car collision on the new South Devon Highway at Kingskerswell this morning.

Newton Abbot and Exeter-bound rush-hour traffic was held up briefly as police and paramedics dealt with the 8am incident just after the Kingskerswell turn-off.

The casualty was treated at the scene.
