AN ELDERLY passenger was treated in hospital after a two-car collision in Newton Abbot yesterday.

The casualty, believed to be local, suffered minor injuries in the bump in St Marychurch Road.

He was taken to Torbay Hospital for a check-up as a precaution.

The accident between a Renault Clio and Toyota Yaris, both registered to Newton Abbot, happened at 3pm.
