OLICE and firefighters dealt with a road crash off Haldon Hill where a car had flipped over and ended up in a lane.

The accident happened on the Plymouth-bound carriageway at 5.30pm on Sunday. No other vehicles were involved.

Two fire crews from Exeter were called by police to help close off the road and make the scene safe.

Occupants of the flipped over car were reported to be free of the vehicle when the emergency services arrived at the scene.
