POLICE and firefighters attended a road crash scene on the A380 at Kingsteignton over the weekend.

A car left the Exeter-bound carriageway and ended up on a roadside bank between Ware Barton and Eagle Farm on Saturday.

The accident, which did not involve any other vehicles, happened just before 6am.

All occupants were clear of the vehicles by the time the emergency services arrived at the scene.

A crew from Newton Abbot made the vehicle safe and left the matter in the hands of police.
