POLICE are appealing for information after more than £4,000 worth of jewellery and other items were stolen from a domestic property in Dawlish.

The burglary took place at an address on Underwood Close some time between 4.45pm and 9pm on Sunday, September 20.

The items stolen included a Swarovski bracelet, necklace and rings, Armani gents watches and cuff links and an Instrmnt ladies watch.

A spokesperson said: ‘Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area prior to the incident and may have information which could assist their inquiries.

‘In addition, officers would like to hear from anyone who comes across secondhand jewellery for sale and suspects it might be stolen.’
