A MAN suffered serious head injuries after being attacked in his Bovey Tracey home by burglars.
The 31-year-old victim needed hospital treatment after the assault by two men at the man’s home at the bottom end of Fore Street.
The pair escaped with a TV and mobile phones after leaving the victim badly beaten.
Details of the late-night attack on August 28 – a Sunday - were only released by police today.
The incident, which police have called a ‘violent assault,’ happened between 10.30pm and 11pm.
Officers say the attackers, dressed in black, fled along Fore Street - possibly to a waiting car.
Other items were also taken in the break-in.
Detectives are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time, or who may have any information about the identity of the suspects.
