A ’FLASHER’ is being sought after two incidents in Newton Abbot in the last week.

Police believe the exhibitionist who struck at Milber Woods on Tuesday may be the nuisance who committed a similar lewd act near All Saints Church in Highweek just 24 hours later.

On each occasion the offender dropped his pants around his ankles and showed himself to women.

Police are anxious to hear from anyone who may know his identity.

Both flashes happened at the same time of day, about 2.30pm.

No detailed description was given of the culprit in the woods, but he was wearing a dark hoodie. In the church incident, a man reckoned to be in his 20s was wearing a blue anorak with the hood up.

His victim was a woman walking her dog who told police the man’s jogging bottoms were around his ankles.
