TRAINS have been cancelled, roads blocked by fallen trees and coastal areas battered as Storm Callum battled its way into Devon this morning (Friday Oct 12).
Towns including Teignmouth and Dawlish have seen some overtopping of sea walls , beach huts over-turned at Teignmouth and the rail route through Dawlish was closed to some services earlier in the day.
Police have warned people not to approach potentially dangerous coastlines to take photographs.
At Exeter Airport Flybe cancelled all flights in and out of the county until later this afternoon.
The Met Office currently has a yellow warning in force for severe weather and is waning the public to expect road, rail, air and ferry delays as well as delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed bridges.
