A MAN suspected of serious sex attacks on two teenage girls in Newton Abbot remains at large.
Police confirmed today (Mon, Oct 9) they are still searching for a man wanted for questioning in connection with assaults in Courtenay Park and within the grounds of Forde House.
The two 15-year-old victims are known to each other – and it’s believed both knew their attacker.
His details have not been released by officers hunting him.
The first incident happened in Courtenay Park between 6pm on Saturday, September 30, and 9am the following day.
The Forde House attack was between 8.30pm last Tuesday (Oct 3) and 2am the following day.
Police say the girls, who cannot be named for legal reasons, are being supported by specially trained officers.
A spokeswoman confirmed that investigations into the attacks – not being treated as ‘stranger danger’ inquiries – were continuing.
