THE A379 was closed at Teignmouth town centre for more than an hour last night (FEB 17) after a collision involving a taxi and a Vauxhall Corsa in Exeter Road.

No-one was injured in the collision which occurred around 9.30pm. Teignmouth firefighters were called to make the vehicles safe.
