A VAN burst into flames on Telegraph Hill last night.

Two fire crews from Exeter dealt with the A380 blaze which severely damaged the vehicle.

Firefighters wearing breathing gear used a hosereel jet to douse the flames.

A fire spokesman said the cause of the incident was being treated as accidental.

Police also attended the scene.
