A VEHICLE was completely destroyed by a fire on Trinity Hill Road, Exminster, yesterday evening (Saturday).

Fire control received a call for a vehicle fire at around 7.45pm.

A spokesperson said: ‘Fire Control immediately mobilised a pumping appliance from Middlemoor.

‘On arrival crews confirmed the vehicle to be well alight and requested the attendance of a further pumping appliance which was sent from Danes Castle.

‘Crews got to work and successfully extinguished the fire using CAFS, on hose reel, one Thermal imaging camera and hand tools.

‘The vehicle was 100 percent damaged by fire. 

‘The cause was believed to be accidental.’
