FIVE generations of one family were able to meet for the first time in Dawlish last weekend.

Dawlish resident Mary Shaw was finally able to see her great-great- granddaughter Nell Fulton for real after Covid restrictions meant that family contact had been limited to online contact only.

Young Nell, at nine months old, travelled down with her parents from Grimsby to meet her great-great grandmother.

Said Cleo: ‘My great nan was so happy when she heard we were making the trip down.

‘Seeing pictures of Nell just isn’t the same as meeting her face to face so it was a really special occasion for all of us.’

Obviously Mary was delighted to meet the newest arrival to the family.

‘She’s absolutely gorgeous and it’s been well worth the wait,’ she said.

‘We’ve spoilt her rotten over the past two days but I think she’s a bit too young to take it all in just yet!’
