THE Cuddly Toy Gang have struck again... and that can mean only one thing... local charities receiving a share of £2,500!

The ‘gang’ organise bingo each month at Ashcombe Village Hall, with a special Christmas session taking place on December 3.

Four local charities gratefully received a donation: Dawlish Community Transport; AIMs,; St Nectan’s Church at Ashcombe and the Strand Centre in Dawlish.

A spokesperson for the ‘gang’ expressed their thanks to all the people who regularly attended, as well as Tom Hunt who helps organise the sessions, caller Sara Cartright and Matt Addicot, who looks after the bar.

And last but not least, Frank and Carol Waister for providing the refreshments.

They were also presented with gifts to thank them for all their support.

Since the bingo started in 2021, the Cuddly Toy Gang have raised about £10,000 for local charities.

It is held on the first Wednesday of the month starting at 7.30pm, for an 8.00pm
