Teignmouth resident Edith Wareham celebrates her 100th birthday today. Mrs Wareham and her late husband, Jack, ran a photographic business in Shaldon from 1945 and later moved the business to Bitton Park Road, Teignmouth.
Mrs Wareham returned to Shaldon after the death of her husband in 1968 and remained there until recent years. She has lived at South Lawn retirement home, Teignmouth, for the past five years.
Mrs Wareham has a daughter, Angela, grandchildren Susan and Sally, and great grandchildren Sammy and Lucy.
