ESSENTIAL overnight maintenance work will take place on the A380 for four nights this September.

The road will be closed in both directions between Eagle Farm and Splatford Split from 8pm until 6am on Monday, September 14 to Thursday, September 17.

The work will include re-tensioning safety barriers, line marking, grass cutting, emptying road gullies and repairing joint seals.

Drivers will be diverted via Exeter Road, Strap Lane, Kingsteignton Road and Plymouth Road, depending on their direction of travel.

Motorists are being advised to allow extra time for their journeys and follow the signed diversion routes while the work is carried out.
