Well done to Shaldon?Theatre Company for, once again, pulling the cat out of the bag.

On Saturday afternoon I went to the Carlton Theatre and along with many other families from all over south Devon I saw, first hand, what amateur theatre can be like.

The costumes alone filled the stage with so much colour it was a feast for the eyes. I counted ten changes and a cast of more than 25, so that makes about 250 colourful, classy costumes.

Every member of the cast put themselves right in there and seemed to be enjoying every minute. Great performances from all.

The muic, the direction, the back stage guys, the wardrobe mistresses, front of house, and of course the stunning cast shold all be proud to have been involved in such a colourful, charismatic show.
