ALL-day parking is now available at a Newton Abbot car park amid district-wide changes to parking.

From April 1, Teignbridge District Council (TDC) made some changes to car parks across the district, saying that the changes are part of ‘wider work to simplify the parking permit system and make arrangements clearer and more consistent for residents and visitors’.

For example, drivers can now park all-day at Newfoundland Way car park.

It comes as TDC did not renew its lease of Venture Court car park.

A number of other changes have also been introduced.

Broadmeadow car park in Teignmouth has changed from a free car park to a permit‑only car park for business and industrial estate users.
