WITH the reorganised parliamentary constituencies, the new Newton Abbot area is smaller than the former Teignbridge constituency and there will be 53 polling stations around the district. That is less than half the number – 111 – in new Central Devon whose boundary now encompasses Ashburton, Buckfastleigh, Bovey Tracey and Chudleigh.
