p ALLOTMENT gardeners in Newton Abbot are to open a shop selling seasonal fresh produce, honey and gardening tools and equipment.
Cllr Mike Hocking, the town's mayor, will officially open Seeds of Success at Decoy allotments at 10am on Saturday, February 15. It will be run as a club for members, with an annual membership fee of £1.
The allotments are next to Decoy school, and the shop's opening times will be between 3pm-4pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 10am-12 noon on Saturdays and Sundays.
