BROADMEADOW Allotment Association is appealing for new members to join the group as numbers on the waiting list have decreased.

The allotments, in Teignmouth, give people the opportunity to grow fresh fruit and vegetables.

The 63 members of the association spend a minimum of five hours a week at their allotments ensuring they stay in good shape.

They elect a new committee each year that oversees the running of the site.
