A MEMORIAL in memory of those from Seale-Hayne Agricultural College, Newton Abbot, who died in the second world war, has been vandalised.
The sports pavilion was erected by the Old Seale-Haynians Club in 1951 in memory of 15 former students who lost their lives serving their country.
But at the weekend the pavilion, on the former college playing fields – now part of the Seale-Hayne farm run by Andy Hayllor – was entered.
Rear windows were smashed, security grating yanked off, a toilet seat damaged and the changing and shower room was covered in broken glass. Some equipment was also stolen.
