YOUNGSTERS at Dawlish Library will now be able to enjoy more Lego facilities with the opening of a dedicated Lego wall.

Built by the Dawlish Men’s Shed group, the wall was officially opened by the new Mayor of Dawlish Cllr Rosie Dawson who cut the ribbon. Library manager Rob Blackmore said:

‘Another wall has been opened in Dawlish but we think ours is better!

‘We hope children of all ages will enjoy it.’

The vertical wall has Lego bases stuck to it which gives children the opportunity to build upwards and outwards.

Rob explained: ‘A simple idea but it seems very popular.

‘We will have competitions who can build the highest, best, longest Lego construction.’

Each Saturday children can enjoy Lego at the library from 10am-noon.

Once a month there is a special themed Lego challenge where participants can win a prize.
