A POPULAR Apple Fair is returning to Buckfastleigh’s Orchard Millennium Green tomorrow, October 7, from midday to 4pm.
Trefor Jones, of the Orchard Millennium Green Trust, said: ‘We’re delighted to be bringing the people of the town another great afternoon with a variety of apple themed attractions at its core.’
There’ll be a variety of stalls from local organisations; upbeat music; children’s activities; and winter-warming snacks, including a barbecue.
A traditional, rustic apple press will be provided, giving visitors and fruit juice enthusiasts the chance to make their own delicious homemade juices.
Trefor added: ‘Please do come on down with your own apples, or help us pick some from the trees on the Green, and enjoy a traditional activity within our beautiful surroundings. Remember to bring a bottle to take some juice home.
‘This popular free afternoon has been gaining in popularity and we are very keen to build on the success of last year’s event.’
