BOVEY Tracey Army Cadet Force is marching into 2014 in its own premises.
The detachment faced eviction from its hut in St John's Lane, next to the Phoenix Hall.
But last month the Wessex Brigade Reserve Forces and Cadets Association (Wx RFCA) came to the rescue.
It was in September during a visit by Mark Francois, the Minister of State for Defence, Personnel, Welfare and Veterans, to Newton Abbot Army Cadets, that the news broke.
Bovey Tracey ACF Detachment Commander, Lt Graham Wilding, was told that Wx RFCA had agreed to buy the land.
