AUTHOR Michael Bennie was the guest of the Kingskerswell Library Friends.

Mr Bennie, who has penned many popular local walking books, told library members, villagers and walking groups how he became involved in writing and the process involved in researching and writing a book.

He then shared some of his favourite walks, places and pubs in the area, providing inspiration to the audience.

The next event is on Thursday, November 12 which is a workshop from Devon Drivers Centre on driving safely in later life. Tickets are available from the library.
