BALLET student Lydia Brayshaw is a local heroine after helping those caught up in the catastrophic wildfires sweeping across Australia.

Resourceful teenager Lydia sent $1,500 Australian dollars to a charity on the other side of the world with her poignant T-shirt featuring her cartoon of a kangaroo carrying a koala in its pouch with the caption: ‘I’ll take care of you.’
