Eighteen boats took to the water between Teignmouth and Newton Abbot for the Barham Cup rowing relay race on the evening of Friday, July 31.

The annual event is part of Teignmouth Regatta Week, and is supported by both town councils.
The first relay of rowers set off from Teignmouth Fish Quay at 6.30pm and made their way to Coombe Cellars, where the second relay took over and rowed to the finishing line at Newton Abbot Town Quay,



There the Mayors of Teignmouth and Newton Abbot, Cllr Lily Chasteau and Cllr Louise Cooke,, presented medals and trophies to the winners in all categories.
Overall winners were the four-man team comprising James Stoyle, Mark Annal, Ed Rawlings and Paul Carpenter.
