DEVELOPERS are bidding to build up to 34 new homes in Highweek.

The 10-acre site at Howton Road is to the north of Mile End where substantial new housing is already being built at Hele Park, Stanbury Meadow and Lemon Grove.

The latest plans for additional housing, including 20 per cent affordable, apply to land at Western House.

Developers are looking to build nine two-bed properties, 14 three-bed, eight four-bed and three five-bed.
