A MAN in his thirties was airlifted to hospital following a crash near Abbotskerswell on Sunday (April 12).

Police were called at 5.40pm following a three-vehicle collision on the A381 at Abbotskerswell.

The incident, near Abbotskerswell Cricket Club, involved two cars and a motorcycle.

The male motorcyclist, in his thirties, was airlifted to Derriford Hospital.

His injuries were not deemed life changing or life threatening after being treated at hospital, Devon & Cornwall Police have confirmed.

All those involved were checked over at the scene by ambulance.

Two people were taken to Torbay Hospital to be checked over, one with facial injuries.

The road was closed from Two Mile Cross to Ogwell Road until just after 9pm.
