A MOTORCYCLIST has been taken to hospital following a collision involving a car on Colley Lane in Ashcombe, Devon.

Police were called to the B3192 at around 12.20pm on Wednesday, October 28, following reports of a crash involving a car and a motorcycle.

The rider was taken to hospital, where they are being treated for injuries, which are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.

The collision led to the closure of Colley Lane in both directions between the A380 Ashcombe turn-off and Luscombe Hill

Traffic was reported to be slow in the area, with queues building while emergency services dealt with the incident.

The road has since reopened.
