ASHBURTON rocked to some of the biggest names in the business at the weekend at the Uniquest Little Blues Festival in the World.

Legendary blue-rock guitarist Peter Green headed the bill at the town hall, with Mike Sanchez headlining on Sunday and Big Mac's Wholly Soul Band on Friday.

A host of support bands included John Whitehill, 1997 Blues Guitar Player of the Year, Chicago Red, and also from the US, Tom Ball and Kenny Sultan with their unique blend of guitar and harmonica blues.
