Decoy BMX Club are going to hold its first summer BBQ fair this Sunday, August 21 from 10am to 2pm.

Free entry to the track which can be found down by the skate bowl off Coach Road, Newton Abbot. Turn off by Devon FA.

A spokesman said: ‘Come on down, see what the club is all about.

‘Watch our riders train or have a go yourself.

‘We have equipment to hire which is free on your first visit. Come and chat with our volunteers who’ll be happy to answer any questions.

‘Open to all, and lots for families to do.’

There’ll be stalls and games, a barbecue hot and cold food, drinks, ‘ice cream, snacks and sweets.

The spokesman added: ‘This helps us raise awareness of the club and sport and funds to keep the club which is completely run by volunteers.

‘So whether you’re young or old you can have ago in this fun, exciting Olympic sport.

‘You can also find us on Facebook Decoy Box Club about our normal sessions times.’
