THE body of a man has been found by police on a Teignbridge beach.

Police located the man at Dawlish Warren on Tuesday, March 10.

The body is believed to be that of 44-year-old Robin Cort, who was reported missing from Exeter, though formal identification has yet to be carried out.

The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.

A spokesperson for Devon & Cornwall Police said: ‘Police searching for a missing man from Exeter have located the body of a man in Dawlish.

‘Emergency services located the body last night [10 March] during searches.

‘Formal identification is yet to be carried out but officers believe the person to be 44-year-old Robin Cort who was reported missing.

‘His family have been informed of this development’.
