Community-owned Buckfastleigh Swimming Pool opens for the summer season tomorrow, May 25.
And on Sunday, May 26, Emma Pusill, author of the Lido Guide, will be visiting the pool to help launch her guide, from 9am to 10.30am.
A spokesperson for the pool said: ‘The pool opens for the summer season on May 25, with our school holiday timetable running throughout the first week.
‘We’ve also got our exciting new fitness sessions starting from Monday May 27, with books of tickets transferable between activity and individuals.
‘On Sunday the lovely Emma Pusill will be joining us to launch her guide to all things Lido.
‘Come along for a swim, see the book - which will be available to buy ahead of the publication date of June 13 - and talk all things lido.
‘Join us and let’s get the summer started.’
