A MANSLAUGHTER trial relating to the death of a Newton Abbot teenager in a ladder fall accident in Abbotskerswell is due to get underway this autumn.

The three-weeks-long trial of Paignton builder Colin Jeffrey is expected to start on October 3 at Exeter Crown Court.

He is accused of the manslaughter of 17-year-old Beau Jennians who had homes in Newton Abbot and Paignton.

He died in hospital from injuries received in the fall while working on a property in December 2014.
