The prospect of 'coffins in the bus station' has prompted Newton Abbot Town Council to consider a campaign to improve safety at the busy Sherborne Road facility.

On Wednesday members heard from the founder of the Alansway and Countrybus businesses, Alan Partridge, who warned that deaths were inevitable unless the ban on prohibited traffic was enforced.
