ºTWO members of staff from Parker’s Independent Family Funeral Directors in Newton Abbot have taken a huge leap of faith, in a bid to raise cash for Rowcroft Hospice.
Jamie and Nick Parker raised £2,190 when they jumped from a plane at an altitude of 15,000ft.
A spokesman for the funeral directors said: ‘Rowcroft is an essential part of our local community and provides much-needed care, support and services that we cannot do without.
‘The Parker family see the amazing work that Rowcroft does first hand and the difference it makes to families and their loved ones.’
The family thanked everyone for their support and encouragement.
Hayley Norrish, community fundraising manager for the hospice, said: ‘We would like to say a huge thank you to Jamie and Nick for going to such incredible efforts to raise money for people living with life-limiting illnesses in South Devon.
‘We think they are incredibly brave and are so grateful for their support.’
