CHAGFORD’S Gidleigh Park Hotel has scooped two prestigious national awards.

The four star hotel, part of the Andrew Brownsword group of hotels, was named Rural Hotel of the Year and Hotel of the Year by readers of Food and Travel magazine.

The awards were presented at a glittering ceremony held in central London.

Voted for by readers, the Food and Travel Reader Awards honoured the best in food, drink and travel.
