Networking over yoga might seem a stretch but a group of local women found it was just the business last Friday (May 10).

The latest Devon Women in Business (DWIB) networking event took the form of a mini retreat hosted by Natalie Hyson from the Love Yoga Tree Studio, based at the Dartmoor Reach Alpaca and Glamping Farm near Bovey Tracey.

Around 20 local businesswomen, including job coaches, accountants, events planners and virtual assistants, toured the accommodation, which has featured on Channel 4’s Four in a Bed, and fed the alpacas before relaxing into a guided meditation.

Natalie Hyson won the DWIB Eco Friendly Business award last year. ‘We were all eager to see the farm first-hand,’ said attendee Emma Woodward from Dawes Accountants. ‘And what a different way to network with local businesswomen,’ she added.
