Teignmouth and Shaldon Sea Cadets chose a theme and portrayed A Day in the Life of a Royal Naval Ship for their annual Royal Navy Inspection. Chris Whitlock, the unit's chairman, said all the cadets were able to show their particular abilities. 'The parents and friends of the cadets made a tremendous effort to ensure the occasion was a success. 'We are always looking for new cadets and all are welcome to come and see what we are about,' said Mr Whitlock. At the inspection, the cadets were able to display the life skills and training they receive at their local unit. The inspection was attended by Cmdr T Binn, RN, Lt Cdr (SCC) K Brown and guests from the Royal Naval Association.
